The Harrieta Estate: a place for walks and picnics
The shores of Lake Harrieta, a natural area of 5,000 m2, are reserved during the summer months for leisure pastimes and relaxation. With tables, chairs and parasols arranged under the trees, they offer the option of:
. spending pleasant days at the water's edge
. indulging in the pleasures of fishing
. easy-going picnics, with barbecue grills available on request
. enjoying ice cream or cold drinks at the on-site stand
. going for a pedal-boat ride on the lake, with a dozen pedal-boats available for rent by the half-hour or full hour.
Any eventual bathing in the lake is not supervised by the staff of the Harrieta Estate.

Harrieta-Ko-Borda: a place for gathering and food and drink
At the entrance to the Harrieta Estate, the Ko-Borda hall, built on the site of a former farm building following the traditions of local architecture, serves as a gathering place for the public and a restaurant and bar area.
This building, 109 m2, has three sides enclosed in bay windows that offer a panoramic view of the Pyrenees mountains, the lake and neighbouring villages.
In the summer, tables and chairs are set up outside. The Ko-Borda is comprised of 50 seated places on the inside and 30 on the terrace.
A wide variety of clientele rub elbows at the Harrieta-Ko-Borda in the summertime. Families on holiday, lone fishermen, hikers and neighbouring farmers often make up a hearty group, in a warm, festive atmosphere.

Services on request and a hall for hire
Group meals can be served on request. They are prepared by a caterer renowned for the quality of its local food products, with preference given to: excellent meats of the season, trout, goat cheese, foie gras, etc.
Individuals, families, associations and company staff committees will find in the Harrieta-Ko-Borda an ideal hall for congenial gatherings. Banquets, receptions, evening dances, all may take place without troubling the neighbours. The relative isolation of this site in the countryside ensures that it enjoys the utmost tranquility, and contributes to the success of lively festive evenings.
Parents will also enjoy taking advantage of it to organise birthday parties for their children, including snacks, dancing, games and trout fishing, in a spacious and safe setting.

Conditions of Use
This setting meant for walking and leisure pastimes is open to everyone during holiday seasons. It is not reserved solely for the clientele of the Harrieta Estate Residence, who do enjoy special services as part of their rentals.
An entry fee of 2 € per person per day (ages 10 and up) is charged to non-residents for access to the picnic area. |
