Ball Trap at the Lake Harrieta Estate in the Basque country

Clay-pigeon shooting at the Harrieta Estate

This outdoor sports activity, popular with more than just hunters, is practiced at the Harrieta Estate. A special area is set aside for it in a private grove right next to Lake Harrieta and approximately 1 km from the holiday residences.

Ball trap consists of shooting at clay plates or moving targets using smooth-bore hunting rifles.

Shooters will find a natural environment for small game marksmanship: partridge, ducks, pheasant, woodcock, rabbits, etc. They can pick out their target along the ground, rising, hindered or not by trees, clumps of bushes or various types of obstacles.

A Sporting Clays Course open to everyone

A major branch of ball trap, Sporting Clays is practiced at the Harrieta Estate under extremely strict conditions of supervision and safety.

The shooting stand is equipped with a clays launcher, which throws out a variety of 21 clay targets through the trees with each round.
